The boys LOVE this game and it’s perfect for car or plane travel because all the peices are contained in the compartment. Yes, it’s about sinking ships…but they have to strategically think about what spot to target next. I initially bought it for the 8-year-old but the 12-year-old boys use it just as often. Ages 8+
