Rock the SAT
My teens are raving about this! They love the music and…learned. My 14-year-old daughter says the book is just as good because the stories written using the vocabulary words are so comical that you can’t forget the word. Well, we’ll see. Two of them just took the SSAT (PSAT)and I’ll let you know how they did. The creators culled the list of vocabulary words that most frequently appear on the SAT year after year and put them to rock music. The CD is great. It is easy to learn the words and their meaning. Having spent a good deal of time drilling my kids from the vacab lists…this sure sounds like a better alternative. I’m always in favor of items they learn from without realizing it! |
